The Austin Collection

Designed by architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum is a modern and monolithic icon of Austin’s architectural past. The site features a stone veneer, a grand outdoor stairway leading up to the library’s front plaza and two massive flag poles towering over three plant beds featuring native Texas vegetation.
